Gender Dialogue Forums are organized to analyze gender practice and seek inspiration for collective change through reflections on gender training practice, essentials of transformative gender training, processes of institutional change for gender equality and nexus between gender, globalization and poverty. Dialogue Forums engage practitioners and alumni members in collective reflection and deliberations to suggest way forward.

The purpose of the forum was to reflect on the impact of Globalization policies on women and how they affect the effort in promoting just and equal relationships between women and men in social and economic spheres. Noted experts from the related field were invited as panel speakers. Panelists included Dr. Rubina Saigol, Dr.Johar Ali, Asim Sajjad Akhtar, Dr. Shaukat Hameed Khan, Dr. Kaiser Bengali, Dr. Rehana Siddiqui, Azra Talat Sayeed, Najma Sadeque and Aisha Makhdum. They provided insights into the dynamics of globalization policies and its impact on women and proposed alternatives for policy makers to respond to the social and economic interests of women.
- Dialogue Forum: Gender Training Practice and Institutional Change for Gender Equality 22-23 May 2009
The Forum focused on two critical themes of gender equality with a purpose to seek insights and reflect on experiences of practice community concerning gender training approaches and institutional change strategies.
Panel and plenary highlighting Gender Training Practice captured the scope and dimensions of retaining transformatory potential of gender trainings and translating gender learning into work practice.
Panel and plenary with a spotlight on Institutional Change for Gender Equality reflected on how and why of transforming power hierarchies and institutional gender biases.
